	About EUROFLEETS Calls for Ship-time European Virtual RV Platform Common and Sustainable use of RV Joint Research Activities Training and Education Partnership with Industry EUROFLEETS Products		Call Open: EUROFLEETS Multidisciplinary Ship-based training for European Postgraduate Students of Marine Related Sciences Cork, Ireland August 2010 08/04/2010 Two multidisciplinary practical ship-based training courses, organized within the EUROFLEETS programme, will be held in Cork, Ireland in late August 2010 on board RV Celtic Voyager. These practical ship-based training courses, with one shore-based day, will allow post-graduate students to acquire the practical skills necessary to conduct scientific surveys at sea, and will focus on survey design and planning, deployment and operation of equipment and instrumentation, sample collection and processing, and safety at sea. A call for the selection of the post-graduate students (a total of 20 places) is now open. Applications must be received via e-mail or post by Friday May 14th at 18:00hrs (CET).
