Eurofleets is pleased to announce that the Fourth General Assembly will take place on the 6th March 2026 in Brussels, hosted at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS). Building on the outcomes of the Third General Assembly, this meeting will bring together members and partners of the Eurofleets community to review progress, agree strategic objectives for the year ahead, and further advance collaboration within the European marine research infrastructure network.
The General Assembly is a key forum for discussion and decision-making within Eurofleets. The agenda (to follow) will include updates on organisational activities, presentations from members on recent developments, the adoption of priorities for 2026 and beyond, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation across the fleet network.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in constructive exchanges with colleagues from across Europe’s marine research infrastructure landscape, with a focus on enhancing transnational coordination, facilitating shared access to research vessels and associated equipment, and supporting joint scientific endeavours.
Further details on the programme and registration information will be shared soon. We look forward to welcoming members and stakeholders to Brussels for this important annual meeting of the Eurofleets community.
