The status and internal rules of Eurofleets AISBL were filed on 26 March 2025 in Brussels by CNR (Italy), Ifremer (France), the Marine Institute (Ireland) and RBINS (Belgium). The decree establishing the association was signed on 16 May 2025.
Following on from the joint work carried out by European oceanographic fleet operators as part of the Eurofleets 1, Eurofleets 2 and Eurofleets+ projects, this association aims to provide a sustainable framework for the European fleet network and to work towards new stages of cooperation.
Our second General Assembly will take place on 9 December 2025 in Brussels, at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS) from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to present and vote on our work objectives for 2026 and to expand our membership.
We are pleased to invite you to join this association at this general meeting, or to attend this day to exchange views with Eurofleets members.
An agenda will be organised around several key topics: the presenation of the general objectives of Eurofleets AISBL as well as the status and the internal rules, the expansion of our association to new members, the approval of the budget for 2026 and the adoption of specific objectives for the coming year.
